The seven wonders of Reinoso and Loza Mr. Víctor Reinoso and Jorge Loza, two of the greatest hunters that Argentina has had, told us that it was in 1976 when they managed to complete the pack of seven pure dogos, which was known as the Seven Wonders in the surroundings of southern Córdoba and San Luis.
These dogos reached to knock down 800 boars and, as long as we could confirm, 4 of them were from the “ El Totoral” bloodline, and 3 of them were from “Santa Isabel”´s one. The interesting thing is that, even when the passage of time made them quit their hunting activities and the dogs became pleasing memories, their sons Martín Loza and Florentino Reinoso keep the tradition. They have achieved to fulfil, over these last years, their dreams to manage to hunt with dogos of excellent quality.
In this undertaking “La Cocha” breeding place provides them with the best puppies of its litters, and it manages to keep, at the same time, the functional gymnastics of our dogos.
That is how Macho de La Cocha is already hunting in the fields, while his sister Italiana de La Cocha, owned by Mr. Sebastian Magnére, is in Sweden thanks to the help of a friend, Paolo Vianini. | ||||||||||||
